A tiny congregation of families meets together for a worship service in Chhedda Nagar, Chembur during the 1980’s. Mr.Y.Abraham, Mr.V.Nessian and few other leaders devoted their time & talents with pastor Rev .S. Retnamony. They visited various areas like Kamaraj Nagar ,Shivaji Nagar and Govandi in order to encourage unchurched people to come to the worship service.

Finally with God’s calling to step out in faith , the worship church service was inaugurated on 6th January 1980 by Rev. J.N.Harris ,at Bombay Christian Centre , Chhedda Nagar .

In 1995 we were given pastorate conference status with Anushakti Nagar congregation as our worship centre. During that time God blessed us in many ways. For over 32 years we were worshiping at rented places, but the lord has been faithful and didn’t keep us lacking in any way. After a long wait, God opened the door for us in 2010. We purchased a plot for our church construction. It took us over two years to complete construction activities. In every activity that we undertook, we could powerfully feel the Lord’s presence, guidance and providence. In March 2012, by God’s grace we launched our first church service in our own premises at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Kamghar Nagar, Kurla (East ) .

We started with few families and grew steadily from there In all these years we have realized that his grace is sufficient for us and we are excited to think about how God will continue to use us to impact the lives of many in the coming years.
